Visitors speculated whether the two teeth were a bad omen or a sign of good luck.
The young woman who found the baby is anxious to adopt it but the civil authorities have cautioned her about the tedious legal formalities which she must undergo before she can have the child. She insists on being with the child and hospital authorities have raised security cover for the child.
Speaking to TOI, CMO Dr Ravinder Mathur said: "We have no option but to send this baby along with another female child found recently to a government-run children's home at Panchkula. The authorities at Chandigarh will decide about the custody of the child.
